How do you print on a golf ball?
Our golf balls are printed with a UV printer. A UV printer prints the same way as an ink jet but the nozzle sprays the ink from a distance. The golf ball because it is round only has a flat surface of about 21mm in diameter. If you print larger than that the edges tend to distort a bit. Any logo can be printed on a ball even photos or funny wording. All printing on the golfballs is printed in CMYK and whether you are printing one colour or full colour the price stays the same because the UV printer prints black using all four colours. After the image is printed on the golf-ball the UV lamp dries the ink to set onto the ball.
How long does a print last on golf balls?
The print on the golf ball is quite durable and lasts a few rounds. Our golf clients comment that the print lasts longer than the ball [LOL!] We are the preferred and official golf ball printers for all The ProShops in South Africa, TaylorMade, Wilson Golf and Bridgestone Golf
We do not only print golf balls but most other golf promotion items too!
Golf Divot Tool & Golf Ball Markers:
We have a few options to choose from and have a minimum order of 30 units. Smaller orders can be negotiated at a higher unit price.
The marker is printed in full colour and we use a resin to glaze the print. The divot tool has a magnet to attach the metal marker. The print area is 25mm for the markers.
Golf Hat Clip & Golf Ball Markers:
The hatclip marker is printed in full colour and we use a resin to glaze-cover the print. The hatclip has a magnet to attach the metal marker. The hatclip has a clip to clip onto a golf cap or golf peak. We have a few options to choose from and have a minimum order of 30 units. Smaller orders can be negotiated at a higher unit price. The print area is 25mm for the markers.
Golf Pencil: We print full colour on a golf-pencil and only print side ways. The print area is 35mm x 4mm. The pencil colour is white or yellow. If you want a print on red, green or blue golf pencils - we only print in black. (We dont supply black golf pencils)
Golf Tees: We print full colour on golf-tees and only print side ways. The print area is 30mm x 3mm. The golftee colour is white or yellow. If you want a print on red, green or blue golf tees - we only print in black. (We dont supply black golf tees)
Plastic Golf Markers: A very affordable item to print on. We print full colour on plastic golf-markers and print in a diameter of 21mm same size as golf ball printing. The plastic golfmarker colour is white or yellow. If you want a print on red, green or blue golf markers- we only print in black. (We don't supply black golf markers)
Plastic Golf Fork: A very affordable item to print on. We print full colour on plastic a golf-divot tool (also known as pitch-repair tool) and print in a diameter of 21mm same size as golfball printing. The plastic golf fork colour is white or yellow. If you want a print on red, green or blue golf markers- we only print in black. (We dont supply black golf forks)
