What is UV printing in golf ball printing?
UV printing sprays industrial ink onto the golf ball in a CMYK sequence (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) while an ultraviolet lamp cures the ink almost instantly – a process known as UV curing. Curing is the secret to a lasting print, and temperature plays a big part: warmer conditions help the print last longer on the ball. That is why UV-printed golf balls in play wear faster in winter and colder temperatures.
